Janet Jackson Month comes to a close

Good Morning Love Buttons,

In my mind, I celebrated Janet’s birthday all month – because she is a May baby and because she is the Passions ULTIMATE Girl Crush.  Yes, I do celebrate in my own very special, private way 😉 separate and apart from what I do here publicly on these pages – sigh – but every year she celebrates by being the exceedlingly beautiful humanitarian – as an ambassador to AIDS related events.  Gotta love her infinitely for doing God’s work for such an important cause – because the fight continues, everyone.  A cure has not been found and people continue to become infected on a daily basis.  So, I’m a little sad that we’ve reached the end of celebrating Ms. Jackson’s month, but, here are some pics of her attending events while spending much of her special month in Europe.

It’s tea-time Darlings,

Are you ready for SINGLE LADIES on VH-1 which airs on Mondays beginning May 30th?  Well, you should be and let the Passions tell you why.

First of all, it is being coined as the Black SEX IN THE CITY.  Second of all – Passion Crush favorite Stacey Dash and Miss Lisa Raye are starring in this visually tantalizing piece of television genius.  Thirdly, with the Queen, yes, Queen Latifah as Executive Producer – we know this will be a series not to miss – because she was quite successful with LIVING SINGLE (in which most of you know the series FRIENDS liberally ripped off) But also, since the Queen is running things with this bevy of deliciousness surrounding her, Honey, you KNOW things will be fiery up on that set.

In fact, the rumor mill has been going into overdrive already with whispers that Stacey and Lisa got in a scuffle – someone allegedly dragged someone else by the hair plus someone allegedly ran off the set screaming about having some bitches’ ass kicked. Can you say DRAMA on top of DRAMA?   Well Passionistas – it’s gets better as a source indicates that the reasons these gorgeous ladies (which – by the way – we wouldn’t mind watching them mud wrestle – or something else decidedly nasty like that) – are actually fighting for the attention (and affections) of the very wealthy and powerful Executive Producer. [Okay – so, you’re not entirely shocked, right?]  Queen – you better WERK!!!  We here at the Passions are not mad at that pink, velvety couch in your executive orifices – oops – offices.  ;).
